Our historic wool mill was founded in a small village in the heart of the mountains, more precisely in Lombardy, where the manufacturing of yarns and fabrics has a deep-rooted tradition. Even after a century, the company is still run by the founder’s family – the fifth generation of a dynasty of wool workers.

The history of the wool mill began in the warmth of the household, spinning and weaving wool. Since its foundation in 1887, the wool mill has grown and innovated itself, developing a dual essence: on one hand the production of technical textiles for industry, and on the other hand the manufacturing of fine fabrics, such as cashmere, linen and silk, for fashion and furnishing.

One of the merits of this weaving mill is that, with the exception of the wool flakes, the entire production chain is “km-zero”, which indicates the company’s active commitment to protecting the environment and enhancing local resources

The work of these yarn experts shows a deep respect for the raw material, which is evident in their rich sample books, which we love to browse through with admiration: a constantly evolving inventory that tells of the infinite possibilities of what can be done by weaving warp and weft.
